Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to a road-traffic collision between a person and a vehicle. The individual involved has suffered life-changing injuries.
A police cordon has been set up on a section of Cleggs Lane in Little Hulton, near the junction with Eastham Way. The road is closed in both directions between Duke Street and Old Lane.
