Merseyside Police are investigating after a black Audi S3 was found abandoned and smashed into a brick wall in Bootle on Monday morning. Officers were called to Hawthorne Road, near the junction with Trinity Road, at around 6.20am on August 10.
No one present at the scene
When police arrived, nobody was present at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the owner and driver of the vehicle.
Damage and debris
Photographs from the scene show debris on the pavement and damage to the front of the car. The incident has prompted an appeal for information from the public.
