The event unfolded on December 3 in the northwestern city of Oradea. According to officials, the driver suffered a sudden diabetic episode, causing him to lose consciousness and control of the powerful vehicle. The speeding Mercedes entered a roundabout the wrong way, striking the central island at high velocity.
This impact acted as a ramp, launching the car into the air.
