A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after his black Toyota Corolla crashed into a tree on Lightbowne Road in Moston. The incident occurred at around 8pm on Tuesday, July 28.
Police believe the driver suffered a medical episode while behind the wheel. A cordon was put in place at the junction of Nuthurst Road, and paramedics responded to the scene.
Investigation launched
Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit has launched a probe into the crash. Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area to come forward.
A GMP spokesperson said: "They are keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area in the moments leading up to the incident."
