All traffic has been stopped on part of the M60 following a crash near Stockport. Vehicles are being held on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 24 at Denton Island and 25 at Brinnington this morning (August 14).
Heavy traffic and queues
There is heavy traffic approaching the crash scene, near to junction 25. Queues are backing up past Denton Island, according to Google traffic data.
A post from the Inrix traffic monitoring service said: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M60 clockwise from J24 M57 (Denton Island) to J25 A560 Crookilley Way (Brinnington)."
