A lorry crashed into an embankment on the M25 anticlockwise at Junction 6 near Godstone and Clacket Lane Services, causing major delays. Two of the motorway's four lanes were closed, leading to queues of around seven miles and delays of up to 60 minutes.
Emergency repairs slowing traffic
The lorry has been recovered, but emergency road crews repairing broken barriers are continuing to slow traffic, according to National Highways. Delays of up to an hour are expected as congestion stretches back for seven miles.
