Hit-and-Run in Surrey: Woman and Baby Hospitalised

A young mother and her baby have been taken to hospital after being struck by a van in a hit-and-run incident in Whyteleafe, Surrey.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision on the A22 Godstone Road at around 6.45am on January 6. A white van reportedly hit the woman, believed to be in her 20s, as she was walking with her baby.

Both mother and child were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. Surrey Police have urged anyone with information, including CCTV, dashcam or helmet cam footage, to come forward.
