An 11-year-old boy who died after a collision involving a bus and a car in Derby has been named as Seth Fulton. The incident occurred on Nottingham Road near Pentagon Island at approximately 6.45pm on Friday.
Derbyshire Police confirmed that Seth suffered serious injuries in the crash and later died in hospital. His family has paid tribute to him, describing him as a 'lovely colourful lad' who was 'independent and cheeky'.
In a statement, Seth's parents said: 'He had a lust for life, loved wildlife and was adventurous. He was caring and compassionate, impulsive and inquisitive. He had a thirst for knowledge, was fearless, very sociable and would speak to anyone.'
The family added that Seth loved skateboarding and BMX riding, and was known for his silly jokes and dancing. 'He was a very loved son, brother, grandson and nephew,' they said.
