Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the A4232 in Cardiff, causing long traffic delays in the area. Traffic systems show one lane is blocked with queueing traffic due to the crash on A4232 Grangetown Link outbound after Leckwith Road.
Police advise avoiding the area
Police have asked drivers to avoid the area and use alternative routes if possible. A South Wales Police spokesperson said: "We're at the scene of an incident on the A4232 near to the Leckwith roundabout. There is heavy traffic on the northbound carriageway. Please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Thank you for your patience."
Wet conditions increase risk
Due to heavy rainfall overnight and on Thursday morning, driving conditions are more dangerous. Wet road surfaces can reduce tire grip, lower visibility, and increase stopping distances.
