A crash between a tractor and a bus in Kent has left several people injured, including children. The collision occurred on the A227 South Street near Culverstone Green in Meopham shortly before 3.30pm on Wednesday.
Kent police confirmed that multiple bus passengers were injured in the incident and are now receiving treatment at hospital. South East Coast Ambulance Service treated and transported 12 patients to local hospitals, while one patient was airlifted to King’s College Hospital in south London.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene alongside police officers. The serious collision unit of Kent Police is investigating the cause of the crash.
