Yew Tree Lane in Dukinfield was cordoned off this afternoon following a road traffic collision, with emergency services at the scene and an air ambulance in attendance.

Greater Manchester Police responded to the crash at around 1.30pm on August 3, with the road taped off while officers conducted enquiries. Eye witness reports indicate emergency services remained at the scene until around 7pm.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "We are currently responding to road traffic collision on Yew Tree Lane, Dukinfield. A cordon is in place as officers conduct enquiries, and we thank people for their patience as this work is carried out."
