Burglars rammed a vehicle into a motor shop in Old Swan during the early hours of today, making off with two off-road bikes. Merseyside Police were called to Motors on Derby Lane at around 1:15am after the suspects smashed into the front of the shop using a vehicle.
Two Suspects Steal Bikes
Two men reportedly exited the vehicle and stole two off-road bikes from inside the premises. Police have launched an investigation, with CCTV and forensic enquiries currently underway.
Extensive Damage to Shop Front
The front of the shop has suffered severe damage. Images show the destruction, with one shutter completely destroyed and rubble scattered on the pathway outside.
Detective Inspector Tony Meakins said: "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Derby Lane at around 1:15am today who saw or heard anything to contact us. Similarly, we would ask any taxi or delivery drivers to check their dashcam to see if they captured anything significant."
