A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a corrosive substance was thrown over him in Glasgow.
The incident occurred in the Rathlin Street area of Govan around 3am on Sunday, July 19. The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police appeal for information
Detectives believe the attack was targeted and are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his late thirties to early forties, around 5ft 11in tall and of medium build. He had dark brown or black hair that was curly on top and shorter at the sides.

Detective Constable Mark Garner said: “We believe this was a targeted incident and we are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, saw what happened or heard a disturbance, to get in touch.
“I am also asking anyone who has private CCTV or doorbell footage in the area to review this for anything which may assist our enquiries.”
