Alo Yoga Manchester closed after burglary on luxury street

Alo Yoga, a luxury activewear store on Manchester's New Cathedral Street, is closed this morning after being targeted by burglars. Police were called to the scene at 1.49am on August 7.

Police cordon and forensics at scene

A cordon was placed outside the shop in the early hours. Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were responding to reports of a business burglary. A forensics van was seen parked near the store, and shattered glass was visible on the ground outside.

Investigation ongoing

No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is in its early stages. Workers were seen focusing on the store's glass doors. Staff told the Manchester Evening News the shop was closed and declined to comment on the incident.
