Counter-terrorism police have made a seventh arrest in the ongoing investigation into the devastating attack on a Manchester synagogue.

Airport Arrest of 31-Year-Old Suspect

A 31-year-old man was taken into custody at Manchester Airport on Thursday, 27 November 2025. The arrest occurred as he arrived in the UK on an inbound flight.

He was detained on suspicion of commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism, marking a significant development in the case.

Ongoing Investigation into October Attack

This arrest is directly linked to the terrorist attack that took place at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Crumpsall, Manchester, on 2 October.

The attack tragically resulted in the deaths of two worshippers, Melvin Cravitz and Adrian Daulby. Three other men sustained serious injuries during the incident.

Police Appeal for Information

Assistant Chief Constable Rob Potts confirmed the latest arrest and emphasised that the investigation remains active and wide-ranging.

He reiterated an appeal to the public, urging anyone with information, or who may have witnessed events related to the attack, to contact the authorities immediately.

The investigation continues as police work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the attack and bring all responsible to justice.
