Specialist counter-terror police have been scrambled to a street in Bury, Greater Manchester, following reports of a disturbance this afternoon. Armed officers were deployed to Stand Lane in Radcliffe, with police blocking off the road in both directions and diverting local bus services.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that officers responded to an incident on Stand Lane, Radcliffe, after receiving reports of a disturbance at around 2:15pm. Counter Terrorist Specialist Firearms Officers (CTFO) were pictured in attendance, with officers pointing guns towards a building and undercover vehicles also present at the scene.
