The 17-year-old male from The Gap suburb now faces multiple terrorism offences following a coordinated investigation involving both state and federal agencies.

Queensland Police, working in conjunction with the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO), executed a search warrant at the suspect's residence early Wednesday morning. The operation followed intelligence gathering into the youth's alleged activities.

- One count of acts in preparation for, or planning, a terrorist act
- Two counts of possessing extremist material related to terrorist acts
