A 26-year-old graduate from Bath, Somerset, says she has made £200,000 on OnlyFans in just six months and used the money to buy a luxury van to travel Europe. Beth Fiit, who started posting on the adult fan site in August 2022, claims the income has transformed her life, allowing her to leave a bar job she hated.
Fiit, who was studying for a master's degree in novel writing, purchased a converted Ford Transit van for £20,000 with some of her earnings. She plans to travel around Europe for the foreseeable future. 'I make more in a month now than I ever did in a year in a bar,' she said. 'It's changed my life in six months.'
The decision to start an OnlyFans channel came after she was assaulted by a drunk customer at her job in a sports bar. She said she was grabbed and pinned to the ground, prompting her to seek safer online work. After setting up her channel, she marketed it on TikTok, where a couple of videos went viral, hitting over 10 million views and skyrocketing her follower count.
Despite support from most family and friends, Fiit has faced cruel comments from online trolls who call her 'fat' or comment on her cellulite. She said she receives about 99% hate comments on TikTok. However, she feels empowered by her job and has weeded out unsupportive friends. 'It's just crazy that something that happened to me which was so unempowering and scary was the catalyst for me doing something that will change my life forever,' she added.
