Law enforcement authorities in Los Angeles have launched a fresh investigation into hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, examining a new sexual battery allegation while the music executive serves a four-year prison sentence for prostitution-related convictions.
Details of the New Allegation
According to police documents obtained by NBC News, a male music producer and publicist has come forward with disturbing claims against Combs. The accuser states that in 2020, he was invited to a photo shoot at a Los Angeles warehouse where Combs allegedly exposed himself, masturbated, and instructed the producer to assist him.
The police report further details that after the incident, Combs threw a soiled shirt at the producer. The identity of the accuser remains confidential in the official documents, with his name redacted from public viewing.
Delayed Reporting and Recent Developments
The victim explained to investigators that he waited years to report the incident due to feelings of embarrassment and shame. However, he finally came forward to police in Largo, Florida, in September 2025, following Combs' conviction on other charges earlier this year.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed they received an official copy of the Florida police report on Friday, 14th November 2025, and have initiated their own investigation into the serious allegations.
Another troubling incident described in the report occurred in March 2021, when the accuser claims two men covered his head before Combs entered the room and called him a 'snitch'.
Combs' Current Legal Situation
Sean Combs was convicted in July 2025 of transporting his girlfriends and male sex workers across the country to participate in drug-fuelled sexual encounters over multiple years. While found guilty on prostitution-related charges, he was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have resulted in a life sentence.
Combs is currently scheduled for release in May 2028, though prison officials note he may qualify for sentence reductions through participation in substance abuse treatment programmes and other rehabilitation initiatives within the correctional system.
Legal representatives for Combs did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Associated Press regarding the new allegations. The investigation by Los Angeles authorities continues as they examine the credibility of these latest claims against the once-powerful music industry figure.
