Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall has bought her mother a £23,000 Mini Cooper Hatch as a Christmas present. The 25-year-old singer gifted the car to mum Norma Badwi, thanking those who helped her achieve success.
Jade posted a video on Instagram showing the moment her mother discovered the car, wrapped in a giant red bow outside their Newcastle home. Norma described it as a 'fantastic surprise' and praised her daughter's generosity.
The Mini Cooper, built to Jade's specifications, includes extras such as mood lighting. Sales executive Dave Pope from Bowker BMW and MINI in Blackburn said Jade was specific about details like the colour.
Jade's mother also noted that her daughter had bought the family a trip to Disneyland and given her a Chanel handbag for her birthday. The gift comes after Little Mix's most successful year, with their album 'Glory Days' reaching number one and going double platinum.
