Meghan Markle's dad probed over child sex images

Thomas Markle Snr, the estranged father of Meghan Markle, is under investigation after his own son reported finding a large collection of child sex images at his home in the Philippines.

Thomas Markle Jnr, Meghan's half-brother, told police he discovered "hundreds, if not thousands" of child abuse images stored in four large boxes at his father's residence in Cebu. Officers are reportedly preparing to seize the evidence following the report to local police.

Son Reports Father to Police

Thomas Jnr submitted a sworn statement to child abuse police in the Philippines, according to The Sun. He said: "When I found this material I was horrified and I had no option but to report my dad."

He added: "I have supported, cared for him and helped him for years — but that stops now. I won't speak to my father ever again unless I'm called to give evidence against him."

Father's Health and Current Location

Markle Snr, 82, left the Philippines in May after suffering a stroke and a blood clot that led to the amputation of his left leg. He is now living in a nursing home in Florida, where he receives support from his daughter.

The investigation is ongoing, with police reportedly preparing to seize the evidence found at the Cebu property.
