Police have launched a manhunt after two children were reportedly sexually assaulted in Derry. The incident occurred in the Cedar Street area on Monday, June 8.
Officers are searching for a white male who is slim, has short dark hair, and wears dental braces. He was last seen wearing a distinctive green Superdry hoodie with a front logo, dark trousers, and dark-colored shoes.
Inspector Ferriby appealed for witnesses: “We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have noticed suspicious behaviour, to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1137 of 08/06/2026. We would be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or other footage.”
