Illegal Immigrant Charged with 582 Child Sex Abuse Counts

Huete Vivas, a 32-year-old Nicaraguan national living illegally in the United States, has been charged with 582 counts related to child sexual abuse following an investigation in Louisiana.

Charges and Investigation

Vivas faces two counts of Production of Child Sexual Abuse Material, 579 counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material, and one count of Possessing, Trafficking, or Importing a Child Sex Doll. Authorities alleged they found hundreds of files containing videos of abuse, recordings of Vivas speaking to children, and a child sex doll.

According to local authorities, Vivas admitted to purchasing the doll on the online retail site Temu and using it for sexual purposes. He was arrested on July 23, 2026, and remains in custody with a bond set at $750,000. The investigation is ongoing.

Attorney General Liz Murill posted on X: "My Louisiana Bureau of Investigation has arrested an illegal alien on 582 felony charges related to child sexual abuse material and possession of an illegal child sex doll. Louisiana is not a safe haven for illegal aliens who exploit children." She thanked the LBI, Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office, Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana State Police, Bossier City Police Department, Bossier City Marshal's Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and ICE.

ICE Louisiana also posted on X: "We worked closely with Louisiana Bureau of Investigation to arrest this criminal illegal alien for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and possession of a lifelike child sex doll."
