A 13-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped after being dragged into a KFC toilet by four men in central Paris, police have said.
The incident occurred at around 10.45pm on Monday in the Chatelet-Les Halles district, when the girl was reportedly led away from friends and taken into the toilet of a KFC branch in the Forum des Halles shopping centre.
A passer-by alerted police after coming across the girl and hearing her account of the alleged attack. Officers later arrested four men, aged between 18 and 24, at the shopping complex after the girl pointed them out as her attackers.
The suspects have been detained on suspicion of the rape of a minor under 15 and are being questioned by the Juvenile Protection Unit. The girl has received medical and psychological support.
