The latest lawsuit filed by former JP Morgan banker Chirayu Rana contains fresh allegations that his former supervisor Lorna Hajdini attempted to orchestrate a threesome and secretly administered performance-enhancing substances.
New York lawsuit details
According to a report in the Daily Mail, the new federal lawsuit in New York describes an incident in September 2024 when Hajdini allegedly arrived intoxicated at a Manhattan apartment where Rana was staying with a relative. The 37-year-old reportedly appeared naked from a room and told a male witness: “I own Chirayu, so you’d better come join.”
The lawsuit says the witness refused, and Rana tried to stop the encounter, saying “No, no, this isn’t right,” “You have to leave,” “I’m not going to do this,” and “Please stop.” After Hajdini left, Rana was described as “visibly shaking and in a state of shock.”
The filing follows initial allegations from April, in which Rana accused Hajdini of making him her personal “sex slave” and subjecting him to racial and sexual abuse during his time at JP Morgan.
Denials and countersuit
Lorna Hajdini has denied all wrongdoing and countersued Rana for defamation, claiming he fabricated the allegations to destroy her reputation and career. She seeks damages for lost earnings, emotional distress, and reputational harm.
Her lawyers stated: “She never engaged in any inappropriate conduct with this individual of any kind and has never even been to the location where the alleged sexual assault supposedly took place.”
JP Morgan conducted its own internal investigation into the allegations and said it found “no merit” in them. A statement read: “We fully support Lorna and her right to defend herself and protect her reputation. As we have said from the outset, we don’t believe the allegations against her or the firm have merit.”
