A monstrous couple who subjected a six-year-old girl to unimaginable horrors in a specially constructed sex dungeon have been handed significant prison sentences in a case that has appalled the nation.
Allen Bray, 69, and his partner Lynette Baines, 52, were convicted of multiple serious offences including sexual assault of a child under 13 and causing a child to engage in sexual activity. The depraved pair created what prosecutors described as a "dungeon of despair" where they systematically abused the vulnerable child.

Police discovered the grim reality of the child's captivity during a raid on the couple's property. Investigators found a room specifically designed for sexual abuse, complete with restraints and sexual paraphernalia that demonstrated the calculated nature of their crimes.
