Greater Manchester Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak with after a woman was sexually assaulted at a property in Salford.
The incident happened at a property on Reservoir Street, off Langworthy Road, after the woman had been on a night out in Manchester. The assault dates back to August of last year.
Investigation details
Police said the woman had been in a bar on Bootle Street in Manchester city centre before going to Salford. Officers have been carrying out multiple lines of enquiry to identify a suspect.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the city centre division of GMP said: "Can you help officers with their investigation into a report of a sexual assault?"
Appeal for information
Officers are looking to speak to the man pictured as they believe he might be able to help with enquiries following an investigation into reports of a sexual assault.
The post added: "It is believed that a woman was in a bar on 14 August 2025 on Bootle Street in Manchester City Centre before going to a property on Reservoir Street in Salford where she was sexually assaulted."
Police acknowledged it has been some time since the incident, but said officers have been carrying out multiple lines of enquiry to identify a suspect.
