Afghan, 25, arrested in UK over Dortmund gang-rape trial

An Afghan national arrested in the UK is on trial in Germany after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped as her attackers laughed and filmed it. Kambiz H., 25, fled the country following the incident and was detained in London.

Alleged Attack in Dortmund

He and two other men, Quais W., 20, and Burhanulla N., 19, are accused of approaching the teenager at 4am on September 21, 2024, at a bus stop in Dortmund. They purportedly convinced her to follow them back to an apartment and gave her alcohol.

She then fell unconscious, and her alleged attackers are suspected of taking "advantage" of her state. It is believed that one of the men tried to open the girl's eyes.
