British YouTuber and musician Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has appeared in a Western Australian court facing multiple charges of sexual assault. The 30-year-old has pleaded not guilty to six counts of sexually penetrating a 20-year-old woman without consent, following an incident at a Perth hotel room in September 2024.
Prosecutor Danielle Clarke told the District Court of Western Australia on Monday that the woman initially engaged in consensual sex with Barrientos at the Intercontinental Hotel. However, the encounter turned violent when the rapper allegedly began biting and slapping the woman before raping her multiple times. Clarke stated, "What should have been an exciting night out meeting her celebrity crush Yung Filly was fun until it wasn't."
Details of the Alleged Assault
The court heard that the woman, a fan of Yung Filly, attended his gig at a bar in Perth's northern suburbs. After his set, she was invited to a VIP area where she met the musician. Clarke alleged that Barrientos told her, "You're coming home with me tonight," before pushing his hand down the back of her pants. The pair left the venue around 3 a.m. with the rapper's all-male entourage, with the woman believing she was being taken to an after-party. Instead, they went to the hotel, where a minder took her phone and Barrientos led her to room 217.
During sex, Barrientos allegedly bit the woman's neck and breast numerous times. Clarke said, "The bites hurt and [the woman] said ouch and asked the accused to be gentle." Barrientos allegedly told her to stop talking, bit her harder, and slapped her. He also demanded she say, "I'm Filly's dirty whore," but she refused. Prosecutors argue that consent was withdrawn at this point, and the woman began to fear for her safety, deciding to comply with his demands.
Charges and Injuries
Barrientos faces six counts of sexual penetration without consent, one count of impeding the woman's breathing by applying pressure to her neck, and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm. The woman suffered extensive bruising to her face and neck, as well as bite wounds on her right breast, according to the court.
After the alleged rapes, Barrientos reportedly ordered a Wagyu burger via room service. As the woman prepared to leave, a minder entered the room, and Barrientos allegedly commented that she was not "good in bed." He then grabbed her breasts and asked the minder, "How good are her boobs?"
