Discovery of Ann Widdecombe's Body
Ann Widdecombe, 78, was found dead at her home in Haytor, Dartmoor, Devon, on Thursday 9 July. She had sustained serious injuries and was determined to have been killed the day before. Police launched a murder investigation and on 11 July arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of murder in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
