Police Appeal for Man Over Salford Co-op Sexual Assault

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have released an image of a man they believe can assist with an investigation into a reported sexual assault at a Co-op store in Salford. The incident allegedly occurred at the Co-op on Ordsall Lane at approximately 8:30pm on May 22, 2026.

Police Appeal for Information

Officers launched an investigation following the report, and on July 20, 2026, they shared a photograph of a man they wish to identify in connection with the incident. In a statement posted on social media, a GMP spokesperson said: "#APPEAL | We would like to speak to this man as we believe he can help with our investigation of a report of sexual assault at the Co Op on Ordsall lane, #Salford at around 8:30pm on 22 May 2026."

The force has urged anyone who recognises the man or has any information to come forward.
