Man Exposed Himself in Newton-Le-Willows Park

Merseyside Police have issued an image of a man they want to speak to after a reported indecent exposure in a Newton-Le-Willows park. The incident occurred on the morning of Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Mesnes Park.

Incident Details

Police were called at around 9am to reports that a man had exposed himself in the park. The suspect then left the park heading towards Acorn Street, where he was confronted by another man following the incident, according to police.

Investigation Underway

The force has launched an investigation and conducted extensive witness enquiries in the area. On July 10, police released images of a man they believe may hold information crucial to the case.

Detective Inspector James Rotheram said: “Incidents such as these can cause real distress to residents or people who visit Mesnes Park and are completely inappropriate. Those who witnessed the incident were understandably alarmed and did the right thing in contacting us.”

Appeal for Information

Rotheram added: “If you recognise the man pictured in these images then please let us know, as we believe he may hold information vital to our ongoing investigation. Similarly, if you were in Mesnes Park at around 9am on Tuesday and saw this man then do let us know as any information you hold could support our enquiries.”
