Police are hunting two men after a man was assaulted on a Tube train after kissing a female passenger.
Incident Details
The incident occurred at around 10.50pm on Saturday July 4, when the victim boarded a southbound Northern line train at Chalk Farm. A group of people boarded with him, and two girls sat near the man and started speaking to him.
One of the girls kissed him - prompting another member of the party to begin punching the man, followed by another man doing the same. The group and the injured man left the train at Euston, where he was helped by station staff and taken to hospital, where he was found to have sustained a broken nose and deep cuts to his face.
Police Appeal
British Transport Police (BTP) have released images of two men they'd like to identify to assist with their ongoing enquiries. Anyone who recognises them has been urged to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 840 of 4 July.
