A South Wales Police spokesperson confirmed that a 46-year-old man from Cardiff has been arrested on suspicion of arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered. He is currently in police custody.

“Officers were called to Seager Drive, Grangetown, Cardiff following a report of a property fire at around 4am today (Saturday July 18),” the spokesperson said. “The fire has done damage to three neighbouring houses on the street.”
