Frances Zaayer's Crime
Frances Zaayer, an old friend of Shawna Scott, moved across the street from Shawna and her husband David in 2018. After a series of disputes—from property lines to physical altercations—Zaayer shot the couple in May 2018. David died, and Shawna suffered severe facial injuries.
Where Is Frances Zaayer Now?
Zaayer pleaded guilty to murder, second-degree assault, and first-degree wanton endangerment. In 2022, she was sentenced to 35 years in prison and is eligible for parole in 2038. Currently, she remains incarcerated.
Shawna Scott, in the documentary, expressed fear of Zaayer's potential parole: "It's my biggest fear for Frances to be paroled. My fear for my kids, my family. Honestly, I hope she never gets out."
