Stephen Bear has been handed a 16-month prison sentence for violating a restraining order. The sentence relates to a harassment charge stemming from his breach of a restraining order issued alongside his 2023 conviction for secretly recording a sex tape featuring Georgia Harrison and sharing it online.

According to the Crown Prosecution Service, the Celebrity Big Brother star breached the order by posting about Harrison on social media. Judge Morgan, while sentencing, stated: "You know what the terms of the order was. You understood the consequences and over a prolonged period you deliberately breached the court order. The sentence I impose must be immediate."
Previously, the court heard that Bear received an influx of comments following Harrison's appearance on a prominent podcast where she discussed the case.
Mitigation and victim impact
"In July 2025 after the appearance on a high-profile podcast where proceedings were discussed he received a significant number of notifications and online comments," said Ms Deri Molyneux, representing Bear, reports the Daily Star. She added that he was facing personal difficulties at the time, which was presented as a mitigating circumstance. Bear was seen becoming emotional in the dock when this matter was addressed.
A victim personal statement from Georgia Harrison was read out in court, according to Essex Live. Ms Harrison's statement, delivered by Ms Kutner, detailed how Bear's actions had a "profound impact" on her. The statement read: "It causes me significant distress, anxiety and fear during my pregnancy which would make me worry about the baby. He's attempted to control the narrative around my life again. His online presence makes me petrified as I perceive him to be angry." She characterises Bear as having been "relentless with the abuse".
Sentencing and reaction
Bear turned up at Chelmsford Crown Court this afternoon accompanied by his pregnant wife Miami, telling onlookers "wish me luck, guys". The pair revealed in March that they are anticipating their first child.
While he seemed to become tearful earlier during proceedings, Bear displayed no discernible response when the sentence was delivered and he was escorted to the cells. Meanwhile, his wife and mother, seated in the public gallery, visibly showed emotion upon learning he would be returning to custody.
His former partner Georgia Harrison has subsequently commended Essex Police following Stephen's 16-month prison sentence. In a statement, Georgia said: "Essex Police took me seriously when so many women in my position are overlooked. They treated this as the serious crime it is – not a celebrity story. It is a real offence against a real person." She added: "They built the case properly, they stayed with it, and when the order was breached, they acted instead of shrugging. From the messages I get every day, I know how rare that still is." Georgia concluded: "If every force treated this the way Essex Police did, thousands of women would feel safer today."
