A man is in critical condition in hospital after a group assault near the Southbank Centre in central London, according to the Metropolitan Police. The victim, aged in his 40s, was knocked to the ground and attacked by approximately four men in the early hours of Sunday morning. No arrests have been made yet.
Police Appeal for Information
Officers were called to Belvedere Road, South Bank, at around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, 14 June, following reports of an assault. A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “The victim, aged in his 40s, was assaulted by a group of around four men, who knocked him to the ground and assaulted him. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition. No arrests have been made at this stage, and officers are making urgent inquiries.”
