Police are searching for two inmates who absconded from HMP Hollesley Bay, a category D open prison in Suffolk, in the early hours of this morning. James Dooley, 23, and a second man named Cash, whose age has not been disclosed, are both serving sentences for burglary offences.
Dooley is serving six years and three months for burglary and perverting the course of justice. He is described as white, 6ft 1in tall with brown hair, and has links to Wood Green in north London, Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire, and Slough in Berkshire.

HMP Hollesley Bay houses up to 655 prisoners across 85 acres on the Suffolk coast. Category D prisons hold inmates considered trustworthy enough to be in open conditions, often towards the end of their sentences, preparing them for release through work and home leave.
