The attack occurred on Tuesday night near the England team's training facility at Swope Soccer Village. One person was killed and four others injured in a series of four shootings within 30 minutes. The suspect's vehicle was found at a house that later caught fire during a police standoff, but Sanchez-Munoz was not inside.

KCPD Chief Stacey Graves stated, 'If you see this individual, please call the TIPS hotline, call 911 immediately. We are hot on the trail of this subject.' She assured the public that law enforcement is working to keep both the city and World Cup events safe.
