Emergency services were called to Wanstead station at around 11.45am on Tuesday following reports of a casualty on the track.

Several emergency response vehicles were on site, including ambulances, four police cars, two fire engines and an air ambulance.

British Transport Police have confirmed that a person was pronounced dead at the scene, and the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
