Police Launch Intensive Search for Escaped Burglars in Suffolk
Suffolk Police have initiated a widespread manhunt for two convicted burglars, James Dooley, aged 23, and Andrew Cash, aged 32, after they absconded from HMP Hollesley Bay, an open prison in Suffolk. The pair were reported missing to authorities in the early hours of the morning, prompting an urgent appeal for public assistance.

James Dooley was serving a sentence of six years and three months for burglary and intent to pervert the course of justice. He has known links to areas including Wood Green, Waltham Cross, and Slough. Andrew Cash was serving six and a half years for burglary offences and is connected to Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, and Southampton.

HMP Hollesley Bay is classified as a Category D open prison, which typically houses inmates considered low-risk and nearing the end of their sentences. Police have urged anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dooley or Cash to come forward immediately to aid in their recapture.
