Emergency services were called to Duke Street in Liverpool city centre at around 9pm on Tuesday, August 4, following reports that a man had fallen from a building.
The man sustained serious injuries in the fall and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards by paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service, Merseyside Police said.
Death not treated as suspicious
The force confirmed that the man's death is not being treated as suspicious, and his next of kin have been informed. A post mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of death, and enquiries at the scene are ongoing.
