Emergency services are responding to a major incident at Fistral Beach in Newquay. Devon and Cornwall Police, coastguard, and the ambulance service have been at the scene since last night. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) confirmed that two lifeboats were deployed at around 9:30pm.
Witnesses Describe Large Police Presence
Witnesses reported seeing up to nine emergency vehicles at the beach, with a rescue helicopter circling overhead. The nature of the incident has not yet been officially confirmed.
