A Greek man found guilty of murdering Scottish mother Jean Hanlon in 2009 may remain free for another 18 months pending an appeal, according to the Sunday Mail. Her son, Michael Porter, 41, expressed despair that the killer walked out of court unsupervised. He said: “It was a bittersweet moment, I am obviously happy that he has finally been convicted but I don’t feel like mum really has justice, and I certainly will not find peace until he is behind bars.”
