A Cardiff pub was cordoned off after police responded to reports of an attempted burglary in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Officers from South Wales Police received a call just before 3am on June 16 to The Willows Pub in Trowbridge.

Arrest Made

Upon arrival at the scene, a 23-year-old man from Cardiff was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He has since been released on bail as officers continue their investigations.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police stated: "Just before 3am this morning (June 16) South Wales Police received a call reporting an attempted burglary at an address on Willowbrook Drive in Trowbridge. Officers attended and a 23-year-old man from Cardiff was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on bail pending further enquiries."
