736,000 Pillsbury Rolls Recalled Over Glass Risk

General Mills has issued an urgent recall for over 736,000 Pillsbury bread rolls due to potential glass contamination, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced. The recall, initiated in June 2026, affects two products: Pillsbury Hard Roll Dough and Kaiser Roll Dough, which were sold exclusively at Walmart in-store bakeries across 19 states.

Scope of the Recall

According to the FDA notice, more than 3,000 cases of the 180-count Hard Roll Dough and 1,260 cases of the 144-count Kaiser Roll Dough are impacted. The recall was prompted by the discovery of “potential foreign material (glass)” in the products. General Mills stated that the recall is voluntary and was carried out “out of an abundance of caution.”

Affected States and Distribution

The recalled rolls were shipped to suppliers in Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. The company assured that all potentially impacted product has been removed from shelves.
