Former X Factor Finalist Charged With Attempted Murder After Soho Crash

Former X Factor finalist Gabrielle Carrington has been charged with attempted murder after she allegedly drove her car into pedestrians outside a club in London's Soho district, leaving one woman in a life-threatening condition.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning on Argyll Street. Carrington, known online as rielleuk, is accused of hitting influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska, who was trapped under the vehicle. Zakrzewska, who goes by Klaudiaglam on social media, remains in hospital with serious injuries.

London's Metropolitan Police confirmed that a man in his 50s sustained life-changing injuries, and a third woman was treated for minor injuries. Carrington has been charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drunk driving.

Carrington rose to fame in 2013 as a member of the girl group Miss Dynamix on The X Factor, reaching the finals. She later built a career as an influencer and appeared in the 2019 film Blue Story.

She has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. Police have stated the incident is not being treated as terrorism-related.
