Woman Charged with Murder After Body Found in Leicester Van

A woman has been charged with murder following the discovery of a man's body in the back of a van in Leicester. Harinder Kaur, 39, from Hounslow in west London, has also been accused of perverting the course of justice. She was scheduled to appear before Leicester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Police reported that the remains of the man, believed to be in his 30s, were found after officers forced entry to a white Ford Transit van parked on Garden Street on May 27. Authorities were alerted to the vehicle by a member of the public who expressed concerns about its condition.

The van was registered to an address in west London, where officers subsequently arrested a 39-year-old woman. Efforts are ongoing to confirm the man's identity and inform his next of kin.
