Westminster Double Murder: Wanted Man Knew Victims, Police Say

Police have revealed that a man wanted in connection with two murders in Westminster knew the victims. Lee Peacock, 49, is being sought for questioning after a woman, 45, was found dead at a property in Ashbridge Street on Thursday night, and a man, 59, was discovered at a nearby property in Jerome Crescent early on Friday.

Detectives have urged the public not to approach Peacock, who is believed to have lived locally. Lead investigator Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley stated that the attacks are not being treated as random, as both victims were known to the suspect.

“We have a number of lines of inquiry in regards to trace his whereabouts,” Jolley said. “I would urge anybody that knows the whereabouts of Lee Peacock to contact police immediately by calling 999.”
