Families across Wales pay tribute to loved ones in latest death notices
A total of 79 death notices have been published this week, featuring individuals from Neath, Wrexham, Bangor, Newport, Swansea, Port Talbot, Llangefni, Cardiff, and many other communities across Wales. The notices include details of funeral services, donations, and tributes from family members.
Among those remembered is Betty Wyn Absalom, 86, of Neath Abbey, who passed away peacefully on 22 June 2026 at her home. Her funeral will be held at Margam Crematorium on 6 July at 10:00 a.m. The family has requested family flowers only, with donations to Marie Curie Cymru.
Audrey May Arnold, 90, of Rhostyllen, Wrexham, died on 16 June 2026. Her funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Rhostyllen on 9 July at 12:30 p.m., followed by interment in the churchyard. Donations in her memory can be made to the British Heart Foundation.

Cecil Norman Ballard, 93, of Llangefni, passed away on 16 June 2026 at Glyn Menai Care Home. His public funeral service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Llangefni on 7 July at 12:00 noon, followed by interment at Llangefni Town Cemetery. Janice Beatrice Bannon, known as Jan, died suddenly at her home in Newport on 9 June 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene and a much-loved mother and grandmother. Her funeral service will be at Holy Trinity Church, Christchurch on 7 July at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at St Woolos Cemetery. Peter Desmond Bevan, of Peniel Green Road, Llansamlet, Swansea, died at age not specified. His funeral service will be held on 13 July at Margam Crematorium at 2:30 p.m. Family flowers only are requested.

Leah Jane Bunce, 31, of Llangoed, Anglesey, passed away unexpectedly on 13 June 2026. She is survived by her partner Stephen and children Freya and Delilah.
